J.P. Morgan Private Bank, managing over $2.1 trillion in client assets globally, offers personalized financial advice to affluent clients, leveraging our global resources across various sectors. Our International Private Bank (IPB) caters to U.S. families living abroad and international families with U.S. interests, supported by over 1,000 advisors from 80+ countries. The candidate will play a crucial role in the India team, providing intelligence to promote new client acquisition and deepen existing client relationships.


This India team would play a support role to the Private Bank Advisors, operate as an extension of the global team and be responsible to help on several aspects of servicing their clients across sales life cycle (however the India team members would not have any direct client interaction and not be involved in licensed activities, they will be responsible to partner/support the Client Advisors)


Job summary


As a Lending - Client Advisor Support Analyst within the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, you will play a crucial role in providing support to the Private Bank Advisors. You will collaborate with various teams to design and implement tailored credit solutions, oversee deal execution processes, and assist in the preparation of presentations and marketing materials. Your role will also involve working closely with credit risk officers, underwriting, and lending specialists to manage portfolio health and provide data-promoten insights. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work under pressure will be highly valued.


Sales Support function is an integral part of GPB and the candidate will be responsible to provide fully integrated intelligence, connecting all touch points across the client lifecycle to help drive new client acquisition as well as deepening of books of existing clients.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with bankers and lending specialists to design and implement tailored credit solutions
  • Oversee the entire deal execution process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all loan requests within the system
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, detailed proposal memos, and marketing materials for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with the Lending Team to obtain and verify financials and other required documents for accuracy. Work closely with credit risk officers to handle waivers and exceptions
  • Coordinate with Underwriting to review financial information required for annual reviews and implement necessary changes for clients
  • Partner with Lending Team to obtain receipt of financials 3-4 months ahead of Annual Review from the client. Coordinate with Underwriting and Lending Specialist on amendment changes needed for the client
  • Submit loan pricing tools and obtain approvals, if needed. Coordinate with internal and external teams on information needed to generate documents 
  • Receive executed documents and preview for accuracy before submitting to WLS for booking 
  • Lead portfolio review meetings to proactively monitor and manage portfolio health. Collaborate with service teams to address and resolve general queries
  • Produce ad-hoc and regular management reports, including stress test scenarios and data analysis
  • Support various team initiatives by providing data-driven insights and analysis

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • MBA / CA with 1+ years of experience. Experience working in credit risk, credit documentation or lending experience
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure all work adheres to credit policy and bank's standard
  • Teamwork ethic and focus; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills. Experience working with teams from different backgrounds
  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, knowledge and experience of systems such as Bloomberg is advantageous
