About the department
The Global Legal, Intellectual Property, and Security (GLIPS) department at Global Business Services (GBS) in Bangalore plays a pivotal role in supporting the global legal and intellectual property functions of the organization. With a focus on efficiency and high-quality delivery, GLIPS GBS operates across three key sub-teams, each contributing to the broader goal of providing comprehensive legal and intellectual property support to the organisation.
GLIPS GBS stands as a cornerstone of support for the organisation's legal and intellectual property and product security functions, ensuring operational excellence, risk mitigation, and compliance across global operations. Through its dedicated sub-teams and their diverse expertise, GLIPS GBS continues to be instrumental in driving the organisation's success in the legal and intellectual property domains.



The position
As a Legal Intern at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Review Legal Contracts: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal standards and Novo Nordisk guidelines.


  • Proofread Thoroughly: Identify and rectify grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.


  • Verify Consistency: Ensure the consistency of language, terms, and references throughout all contract documentation. Collaborate with Teams: Work with legal and business teams to address discrepancies and ensure alignment with business requirements.


  • Track and Document Changes: Maintain version control and accurate records of contract revisions.


  • Improve Contract Quality: Offer suggestions for enhancing the clarity, coherence, and overall quality of legal contract language. Develop Standardized Templates: Participate in the creation and maintenance of standardised contract templates to enhance efficiency and accuracy.



Qualifications


We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:


  • Master or bachelor’s in law. LLB degree.


  • 0 to 1 years of experience in contract drafting .


  • Understanding and experience of end to end Contract Lifecycle Management.


  • Understanding of contractual review, revise contracts, highlight errors.


  • Exposure of working in a global company.


  • Personal drive and ability to innovate and improve processes and work product


  • Exposure to contract management tool would be preferred..


  • High quality, accountability, business mindset, ability to work independently and in teams.


  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.


  • Good presentations skills.


  • Global mindset.
