Overview This role will provide end to end legal support to the 2 Strategy & Transformation Capability centres with approx. 4600 + HC, apart from support on evolving capabilities and newer and evolving laws like Data Privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Rehaul of IT Act etc. The main purpose and scope of this role is to be the legal SPOC for two ICC sites in Hyderabad and Gurgaon and plans for more locations. The role encompasses legal support to all capability, transformation and sector teams for ICC Hyderabad The role will require driving statutory compliance for the 2 sites across 30 plus laws both central and local laws, 300 plus statutory compliance requirements across areas involving employee, health, safety, IT, finance, administration, legal etc. This role will handle routine legal advisory on HR issues, legal opinions on varied laws,contract management. This role will handle litigation management like legal notices, reviewing pleadings, updating MIS etc. This role will also involve training, legal e-module roll outs etc. This role will also require corporate secretarial support. Responsibilities Contract Management & Legal Advisory: To provide legal support to all functions comprising the ecosystem partners, delivery leads and all new functional capabilities in terms of all legal advisory, review of proposals, apps, projects and day to day legal support. To liase with Global Legal and provide opinions to ensure protection of business interest and assets. To be hands on contract management by being able to draft, negotiate and co-ordinate for all legal business documentation including Contracts/ Purchase Orders/ MPSA/ LPA’s, EULA’s etc To provide support on real estate issues pertaining to two S&T sites in Hyd and Gurgaon covering 429,004sqft + 26,869 sqft. Compliance: To build a culture of statutory compliance by review of applicable laws for two sites, preparation of Statutory Compliance Checklist, roll out, monitoring , holding stakeholder meetings, support on remediation and reporting to Management, monitoring all License & Permits Framework, establishing compliance monitoring tools, apart from providing legal advisory/ guidance for ensuring compliances in a timely manner To monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes affecting the IT/ ITES industry and updating stakeholders in a timely manner. Litigation Management: Litigation Support by preparation of legal notices, replies, litigation Support, External Statutory Regulatory Liasioning Identifying and regular monitoring of External Counsel & Retainership. Organization Reputation Management: To provide legal advisory on corporate reputation management to comms related Legal Support (Advertisement/ Website), sustainability initiatives Trainings & Digital: Trainings to Business : To undertake training for stakeholders of varied subjects relating to applicable laws. Training & Investigations : Work closely with Compliance & Ethics Team to provide legal guidance and support in COC investigations and to impart FCPA and Anti Bribery Trainings to its employees To ensure roll out of digital tools like contract management, litigation management etc Corporate Secreterial Assist and advise to comply with the corporate governance requirements, best practices and regularly monitor compliance. End to end co-ordination of all secretarial and compliance matters regard the LLP. Preparation and maintenance of POA’s, Circular Resolutions, minutes and other statutory documents Qualifications Year of experience : 5-6 years Degree in Law and CS required. Knowledge of IT/ ITES sector, employment laws, technology laws Good communication skills Good interpersonal skills. Contract Management Skills like drafting and negotiations Litigation handling knowledge preferred. Networking skills with internal and external stakeholders.
