Global Commercial Operations supports AstraZeneca’s global brand teams and marketing companies by delivering quality commercial content to external stakeholders, including doctors, healthcare professionals, and patients. We promote, produce, and publish best-in-class commercial content for marketers and our global sales force while embedding a digital compliance capability across the organization.


To deliver our Global Commercial Operations vision, we are looking for an experienced Learning Shared Services Specialist. This role involves managing the LMS and LCMS, supporting end users by working with individuals and administrators in the field to register, support e-learning, and handle training support requests. You will also work with various levels of operations by providing training and compliance reports, gathering information from users, and compiling and generating reports as needed. Your proven communication and writing skills, along with your operations knowledge and expertise, will be essential in managing online training.


Accountabilities

System Maintenance and Operations Support


  • Work with LMS provider to stay updated on system specifications and updates
  • Communicate updates and changes to the field as needed
  • Provide end-user support (application support, e-learning, training support requests, and other areas as requested)
Learning Administration Support
  • Manage courses, create courses, classes, curricula, certifications, and enroll users using the registration desk, individually or batch processes (Prescriptive Rule), and create audience types
  • Upload various course contents such as SCORM, AICC, documents, and videos into LMS, attach them to learning events, and validate them on different platforms such as Windows, Mac, and Android (mobile devices)
  • Manage job roles by creating roles and assigning them to end users based on business requirements
  • Manage workspaces by creating new workspaces, workspace pages using HTML, linking courses into the workspace, and enabling access for end users
  • Manage Pathway, Plan, Skills, Insights, and Groups in the Degreed platform
  • Proficiently support different LMS platforms like Cornerstone Saba, Degreed, Xyleme, and SuccessFactors
  • Communicate with various clients as needed to define requirements for a variety of training reports
  • Recommend training solutions through personal experience and feedback from clients to improve the current structure of offerings
  • Backup and troubleshoot material hosted on the LMS
  • Prepare, deliver, and manage reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and future issues related to LMS data
  • Prepare, deliver, and manage reports as requested from various business departments
Documentation Support
  • Develop and maintain training and job aids for users (learners, instructors, and business unit administrators) of the system
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining business project process and governance documents
  • Involve in creating quality-related documents
Quality Assurance
  • Adhere to quality processes such as peer audits and manual testing of assets pre- and post-go-live
  • Contribute to creating new quality processes and documents
Essential Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience working within an LMS environment (Preferred: Cornerstone SABA or Degreed or Xyleme)
  • Experience in content curation and solve eLearning content issues
  • Experience with all aspects of learning solution development preferred
  • Experience in communicating with a variety of groups of customers at different levels
  • Ability to communicate how the training program and reporting works to support business needs
  • Build productive working relationships with the business unit you support
  • Communicate effectively and possess strong business writing skills
  • Proficiency or ability to gain proficiency in eLearning software
  • Proficiency in training curriculum development preferred
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, market dynamics, and major AZ business drivers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Excel and PowerPoint experience required
  • Working knowledge of Articulate and Captivate authoring tools
  • Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design process
