Overview



We are seeking a highly skilled M365 User Guide Specialist who will be responsible for developing comprehensive user guides, explainer videos, and screen recordings to improve the functionality and best practice use of M365 tools, including new tools like Copilot. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of technical writing, instructional design, and multimedia content creation to effectively communicate complex information in a user-friendly manner.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop detailed user guides and best practice documentation for M365 tools, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Copilot.



  • Create engaging explainer videos and screen recordings to demonstrate the functionality and features of M365 tools.



  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to understand new features and incorporate them into user guides and training materials.



  • Ensure all user guides and instructional materials are up-to-date with the latest product updates and industry best practices.



  • Use various content creation tools and software to produce high-quality multimedia content.



  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of the user guides and training materials.



  • Collaborate with the customer support team to identify common user issues and create targeted guides to address them.



Qualifications



  • Proven experience in creating user guides, instructional videos, and other training materials.



  • Strong understanding of M365 tools and their functionality.



  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, or similar software.



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.



  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.



  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.




  • Experience with user research and feedback collection is a plus.



Preferred Skills



  • Experience with creating content for new and emerging tools like Copilot!



  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and standard methodologies.



  • Experience in a technology or software development environment!
