The Position


As a Lead System Architect - ServiceNow at Novo Nordisk, your responsibilities will include:


  • Defining development standards and guidelines and ensuring that development is aligned with ServiceNow standards and design scalable solutions for both current and future with bridging line of business requirements to technical solutions in ServiceNow.
  • Ensuring coherence of solutions across the IT modules in ServiceNow with assisting Product Owners in refining stories and providing clear guidance to developers on how to configure solutions with advising internal and external developers on technical solutions.
  • Keep Product Owners updated on new ServiceNow capabilities beneficial to stakeholders while contributing to the Novo Nordisk ServiceNow community.
  • Actively participate in architecture boards in ServiceNow, driving improvements to enhance scalability and reduce errors.
  • Participate in agile events for ServiceNow, providing guidance and support to developers and supporters in ServiceNow and contribute inputs to O&M, IT Risk Assessment, and ServiceNow Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, project managers, quality teams, and the process office across the Novo Nordisk landscape to refine requirements, minimize platform customization, and propose improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure the health and reliability of the ServiceNow platform and supporting automation ideas from various areas within Novo Nordisk involving ServiceNow.

Qualifications


  • Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with 3+ years as a ServiceNow Architect or lead developer.
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow and ServiceNow Discovery with deep understanding of integration frameworks.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, writing, review, and optimize code effectively.
  • Experience in leading and delegating task to developers and team members, while maintaining a strong relationship with key stakeholders, ensuring delivery of the right solutions.
  • Technical curiosity, staying updated with the latest advancements in ServiceNow and other relevant systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and ITIL, understanding their principles and practices, and how they can be applied in DevOps.
  • Good understanding of the CSDM framework.
  • Experience in working with internal and external developers with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with diverse countries and cultures across multiple time zones, with the capability to lead the team when required and innovate within the framework to support both the team and the system.
  • Experience with GRC and SecOps(preferred).
  • ITIL certification (preferred).

About the department
Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 1000+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of Enterprise Platforms COE India is to manage Enterprise Platforms, which includes system management, project management, process management, and vendor management. The Enterprise Platforms department is an integral part of DD&IT and is responsible for managing development, support, and maintenance processes for Enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, across all regions in Novo Nordisk.
