Job Description AND Principal Responsibilities
- Drive & take bottom line responsibility for design , implementation and operational management of highly secure and scalable solution for the business.
- Divide the design decisions into actionable tasks ,estimate the tasks & ensure assignment of these tasks to the team and ensure governance for the end to end completion of same
- Drive research ,proof of concepts and design considerations and get a buy in from stake holders for its implementation.
- Review the code and debug the issues , incidents and provide end to end solutions for the same through hands on development & resolution.
- Mentor team on the technical & functional aspects and resolve their queries.
- Communicate to business and technology stakeholders about progress of features, timelines , estimations and project deliverables.
- Provide advice on alternative options, risks and the associated impact to the business and technical architecture
- Design new practices and patterns on the ServiceNow platform will be an added advantage.
- Able to operate in agile execution model with ability to integrate continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks.
- Able to drive and coordinate change request process for development and enhancements
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships and communication with global stakeholders, other IT teams, and business areas.
- Ability to work with vendors and support staff on execution of solution , enhancements and support
- Should be flexible for upskilling and manage team members of different skill sets
Experience/ Skills
Minimum qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or engineering
- 12 +years of extensive work experience on Service Now Platform with GRC module and IRM implementation .
Required Skills
- Experience as a IRM ServiceNow Development and platform .
- Hands-on experience on ServiceNow Integrations.
- Flow Designer experience.
- Experience leading technical implementation efforts in similar scope and size;
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to develop the agreed solutions.
- Strong understanding of Technical knowledge of ServiceNow
- Working experience on creation of Custom workspace, custom service portal.
- Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs is a must skill.
- Experience administering a ServiceNow instance, workflows, business rules, Script includes, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs.
- Design, configure and customize Service Now platform for client to implement/sustain the following modules – Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Change Management, Release Management, Asset Management, Service Catalog etc.
- Integrate Service Now with other corporate applications via web services, mid server, email etc.
- Development of required client specific custom reporting
- Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, ADFS, SailPoint, Ping, etc.)
Nice to Have Skills
- ServiceNow CAS, CAD, CIS-IRM, CIS-CSM, CIS-ITSM Certified
- Understanding of other ServiceNow products
