The Lead software engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to design, Code, debug and implement software features/enhancements by working collaboratively with team. He or She will develop quick prototypes to demonstrate product ideas to team. Furthermore, the candidate will work independently as well as with SME’s.


This position is part of the Clinical Informatics (CIT) Business Unit located in Bengaluru. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Design, implement and deliver software solutions.
  • Investigate/Understand complex issues coming in from the field and drive to root cause.
  • Work in iterative product release environment, with focus on quality and delivery goals.
  • Drive solutions with cross site teams and deploy it in the system, provide demos and drive to closure.

The essential requirements of the job include:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years proven experience in C# .Net Programming.
  • Minimum of 4+ year of experience on web UI development using technologies like Angular JS, React, Typescript, Microsoft Fluent UI Blazor.
  • Hands on experience on DevOps, Continuous Integration, delivery and deployment, version Control (e.g., git).
  • Hands on experience in scripting languages python, shell.
  • Hands on experience in distributed loosely coupled Microservice architecture.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


  • Experience in medical device design & development in Agile environment is a plus.
  • Experience in cloud applications AWS/Azure.
  • Understanding of software development processes for a regulated environment (FDA/ISO13485) and experience in medical device verification is a plus.
