Lead Software Engineer

Your Impact:
We are OpenText-Fortify and we specialize in Enterprise Application Security.  Our product helps you manage, measure and integrate security for the entire software lifecycle.

What the role offers:

• Designing and developing scalable, extensible, and secure product enhancements by leading team of members
• Executing high-quality engineering, including test-driven development
• Working well with customers, business owners, Architects, UX team, Tech Leads, Product Owners, Scrum masters & Team members to come up with the best solutions and execute them efficiently
• Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation
• Providing guidance, reviewing implementation design documents and codes, and mentoring less-experienced staff members.

What you need to succeed:

•  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong hands-on on Angular 17+ front-end development skills along with sound knowledge in other UI technologies such as JavaScript, NodeJS, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java backend, JBoss/WildFly, Kubernetes, REST-based API development, and Authentication schemes (SAML, OAuth, etc)
• Strong software development experience with microservices, SaaS, Cloud environments
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Great to have: Experience with network management, network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), and networking technologies
• Should be a self-starter, with solid ownership and diligence
