Job Description

What You’ll Do
As a Lead Software Development Engineer in test :
• Establish and enforce quality benchmarks and standards across the engineering organization.
• Handles a mid size team of 2-5 engineers and works closely with all stakeholders to ensure deliverables are smooth.
• Design and implement mechanisms to measure the overall health and performance of the platform
• Advocate for and implement "Shift Left" testing practices to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Define and standardize test automation strategies and frameworks across projects to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Own the architecture of automation libraries, ensuring compatibility with modern development pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to optimize testing efforts.
• Experience with languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python or Groovy is a plus
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SDETs by fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Partner with product, development, and operations teams to define release criteria and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
What Makes You Qualified
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience with a proven track record in Agile software testing, including expertise in implementing and scaling Agile testing practices within cross-functional teams.
