Saving and sustaining lives by ensuring stability of our Global Supply Chain planning system to ensure on time product availability to satisfy demand from our customers.

The chosen individual will have a unique chance to take charge of the architecture of all supply planning functionalities in RapidResponse, a widely acclaimed system used by approximately 450 users across the globe. Collaborating with a team of business process experts and seasoned RapidResponse developers, you will employ recognized industry standards and successful approaches to enhance our system architecture. Your valuable expertise will enable our customers to tackle intricate business issues with exceptional solutions.

As the Lead, SC Planning System, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Optimizing resources to improve system performance and facilitate system maintenance
• Collaborating with the appropriate team to enhance user experience in RapidResponse by recognizing potential improvements.
• Managing the request of new functionalities to support the deployment of RapidResponse to new sites
• Automating non-value-added activities to streamline processes
• Designing and configuring different resources, such as automations, scheduled tasks, workbooks, alerts, metrics, scorecards, and dashboards
• Developing workbooks, dashboards, scorecards, commands, scripts, and perspectives to enhance system functionality
• Developing strategies to successfully address and solve complex technical challenges
• Assisting in the management and delivery of large, mid, and small-sized projects
• Contributing to the continuous development of your own and the team's technical skills and knowledge
• Providing 3rd level user support for all RapidResponse functionalities, ensuring flawless system performance and user satisfaction

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Business knowledge of Supply Chain operation and planning processes, including demand planning, master production planning & line load scheduling, material requirement planning, distribution planning, and S&OP
• Deep RapidResponse knowledge, including hands-on experience in any of the planning engines (Optimizer, Heuristic, etc.) and expertise in Workbook development
• Overall RapidResponse knowledge of Data Integration & Data Model, including data modification, Control Table Configuration, and data mapping
• Critical thinking and analytical skills to determine optimal solutions and strategies
• Proactively tackles problems with a focus on achieving goals
• Travel flexibility to attend meetings and work sessions in different locations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster effective collaboration with various individuals or groups
• Ability to multitask and address various demand streams simultaneously

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Fluent English language skills in writing, reading, and speaking
• University degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent level by career, with at least five years of experience in planning & information systems
• Experience in RapidResponse, with Kinaxis RapidResponse Administration Level 1 & Author Level 1 certifications (or Integration Consultant Level 1), or equivalent experience of 3-5 years
• APICS certification is a plus and will be highly regarded in the selection process.
