Lead Quality Engineer

The successful candidate will be an outstanding talent who is responsible to Develop software programs to test code and applications. Involved in requirements analysis, test planning activities, test case automation and execution of critical test cases/scripts required to ensure that the software meets business requirements. Functional Testing levels may include application integration, system, system/network integration and acceptance testing; may also include non-functional testing such as performance, volume, load and fallback. Mentors and guides the team to perform functional, nonfunctional testing and other testing activities Software process professionals are involved in driving the corporate CMM process improvement program and in assessing and reporting on the software development processes embraced by projects through audits, reviews and inspections.

Main Responsibilities

• Specialist, experienced professional with extensive knowledge and skills gained through dynamic experiences in a field that requires diverse practices or procedures.
• Recognized expert in their functional area or geography.
• Deep knowledge of sophisticated product, market and function in own area.
• In-depth understanding of a Business Unit or function.
• Works on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends.
• Produce test scripts based on product requirements.
• Execution of Manual test scenarios within challenging deadlines.
• Work closely with development and product owners and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software.
• Conduct testing in conjunction with the full QA team following company specific processes.
• Provide estimates for scripting and execution tasks.
• Analysis and reporting of test results to management.
• Report and track defects through to completion.
• Assist in the management, maintenance and monitoring of test environments.

Essential Skills/Experience Required

• 6+ yaers of experienced Automation Tester, with excellent technical skills
• Experienced in a formal software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
• Comfortable owning issues through to resolution.
• Comfortable working within a diverse Delivery team based across multiple locations.

Desired Skills/Experience Required

• Experience of end-to-end integration testing
• Knowledge of financial markets
• Jira
• Linux
• SQL
• Experience in automation testing of APIs, Web app.
• Sophisticated hands-on coding experience in Java (OOPS, Design Patterns, JAVA 8, Collections API, String manipulation). Can write efficient, modular, and maintainable code.
• Experience with open-source testing tool/framework like Selenium, Rest Assured, API Automation, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, etc.
• Experience with multi modular framework design.
• Experience with build management tools Gradle.
• Knowledge of Git Labs, Jenkins, CI/CD, Azure/AWS DevOps.
• Able to write code using clean code and clean design principles.

Essential Education/ Certifications

• Degree in computer science or demonstrable relevant experience
