Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and competent Quality & Regulatory Manager for our Blending Operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes within the Food/Pharma manufacturing setup. This position also involves maintaining regulatory compliance and acquiring industry-relevant certifications such as ISO and FSSC.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership in Quality Management: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards for food and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee and manage the inline QA & QC processes, ensuring products meet both internal and external regulatory standards.
  • Quality & Regulatory Process Implementation: Establish, monitor, and continuously improve both quality and regulatory processes within the organization to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards.
  • Certification Management: Responsible for acquiring and maintaining certifications like ISO, FSSC, and others as per industry requirements.
  • Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards for food safety and pharma production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive quality improvements through structured analysis, reporting, and corrective actions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the quality team, fostering a culture of quality and safety across the organization.
  • Environment & Safety Management: Oversee and implement environmental and safety management functions in line with industry best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality standards.
Desired Experience & Competencies:
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in Quality Management within Food or Pharma manufacturing, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including blending operations.
  • Certifications: Proven experience in acquiring and maintaining certifications like ISO, FSSC, and other relevant industry certifications.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in setting up quality systems for production or processing units in food and/or pharma sectors.
  • Environment & Safety: Exposure to environmental and safety management functions will be considered an added advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Quality Management or relevant areas will be an advantage.
