What Does Success Look Like
At Sprinklr, you will play a crucial role in our product development team as a Lead
Product Engineer. You will be in charge of creating, developing, and maintaining
superior software solutions that satisfy our clients' changing needs. Under the direction of the engineering leads, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge features and platform advancements that promote innovation and continuous improvement.
What You will Do
Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a vibrant team of mobile engineers to deliver highquality products.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within
the team.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain code
quality.
Product Development:
• Drive the design, development, and deployment of new product features using
our existing infra while also enhancing the current infra.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to
translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of mobile applications.
Project Management:
• Manage multiple tracks of development, ensuring timely delivery of features and
updates.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks in the
development process.
• Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders regarding project
status, timelines, and any potential delays.
Technical Excellence:
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile
applications development.
• Implement best practices for code security, resilience, and maintainability.
• Encourage the use of performance tools and techniques to enhance the user
experience.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
• Provide clear and comprehensive documentation for all developed features and
updates.
What Makes You Qualified
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a
related field.
Experience:
• 3-5 years of software development experience specializing in mobile application
development.
• Experience in leading teams or projects.
Technical Skills:
• React Native Ecosystem:
o Strong background in building, scaling, and delivering mobile applications
using React Native tech stack.
o Extensive experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, React, React Native,
GraphQL and a strong understanding of Mobile development ecosystem.
• UI/UX and Architecture:
o Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and experience
working closely with design teams.
o Proficiency in design patterns, best practices, and software engineering
principles.
o High standards of code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Dev Testing:
o Extensive hands-on experience with dev testing frameworks and
methodologies. This includes unit testing, integration testing and UI
testing.
o Proficiency with tools like Jest, RTL and RNTL is essential.
• Debugging:
o Strong expertise in debugging including the ability to troubleshoot complex
issues in the development and production environments.
o Experience using advanced debugging tools like Chrome DevTools,
Reactotron, Flipper, Xcode/Android Studio debuggers to identify and
resolve issues related to memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and
crashes.
• Performance Optimizations:
o Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques to
ensure applications run smoothly and efficiently.
• CI/CD:
o Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
pipelines for applications.
• API:
o Knowledge of RESTful APIs and their best practices.
o Understanding of rate limiting, caching strategies, and pagination to
optimize API performance for mobile ecosystem.
• Native Ecosystem:
o Familiarity with native mobile development ecosystem (iOS/Android) is
essential.
o Knowledge of Swift / Objective-C (iOS) and Kotlin / Java (Android) for
developing in the native ecosystem.
o Extensive knowledge of native build processes is a must.
• App Distribution:
o Experience with mobile app distribution process, including publishing and
managing applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play
Store.
o Knowledge of handling app signing (including certificates and keys
management) is essential.
• Backend Technologies:
o Understanding of key strengths of Node.js - asynchronous programming,
event-driven architecture, and non-blocking I/O.
o Familiarity with Express.js or similar frameworks to develop RESTful APIs,
middleware, and services that integrate seamlessly is a plus.
• Cloud Services:
o Experience with cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services
(AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
