Could you be the full-time PI Engineer (PI Field Engineer) (IN-PI-05) in our dynamic and innovative team?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and solution-oriented teammates.
You'll provide essential field engineering leadership, assisting and supporting our projects and Product Introduction (PI) team with the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical and quality issues. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as RAMS, Quality, and Engineering teams), define troubleshooting methodologies, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing operational equipment malfunctions, providing technical guidance, and supporting technicians in troubleshooting and repairs. But also, you will advise on customer satisfaction and product enhancements.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting technical activities on Alstom products during the PI period, including Commissioning and Warranty phases
Driving issue resolution processes with Quality and internal & external suppliers
Ensuring the quality of input to the Failure Management database for RAMS exploitation
Contributing to Reliability Growth and supporting containment measures
Managing as-maintained Alstom product configuration control and relevant documentation
Applying EHS requirements on-site with the support of EHS team representatives

Degree in Engineering or Industrial
Experience or understanding of technical troubleshooting in mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering
Knowledge of Railway safety & RAM and EHS principles
Familiarity with product knowledge and data analytics
A certification in EHS (if applicable)
Problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in the field
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
