The position


As a Privileged Account Management (PAM) Architect at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Work with business and security stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for privileged account management.
  • Develop comprehensive PAM/PIM (Privilege Identity Management) architectures that meet business, technical, and security requirements. Evaluate and select appropriate PAM/PIM technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Design and implement integration strategies for PAM/PIM solutions to ensure seamless interoperability with existing IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Lead the deployment of PAM/PIM solutions, ensuring they are configured according to best practices and meet security standards.
  • Implement automation for provisioning, de-provisioning, and management of privileged accounts.
  • Ensure PAM/PIM solutions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with privileged access and accounts. Implement real-time monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and respond to unauthorized or suspicious activities involving privileged accounts.

Qualifications

  • Overall 8+ years of experience in Security with at least 6+ years strong knowledge and hands-on experience with PAM/PIM solutions such as CyberArk, Beyond Trust, and Azure AD Privileged Identity Management.
  • Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM) principles and technologies.
  • Good understanding of how Active Directory (AD) works. Familiarity with security protocols and technologies, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
  • Understanding of how PAM/PIM solution integration works with MFA tools.
  • In-depth understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements related to privileged access management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex PAM/PIM issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Certified PAM Professional) are a plus.

Global Information Security, GBS is an area within Digital Data and IT GBS. Global Information Security, GBS is an integral part of the Global Information Security Organization of Novo Nordisk, which is headed by the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) and consists of two main areas: Global Security Operations (GSO) and Global Information Security Advisory (GISA). In GIS (Global Information Security) GBS (Global Business Service), we work closely with the Global Information Security organization in defining and executing on strategy to support the digital journey of Novo Nordisk by ensuring smooth operations of SOC, Service Management, advisory support, Security Mailbox, and various other Information Security functions.
