Lead, Information Security (Technical Project Manager)
The Lead, Information Security (Technical Project Manager) will join our InfoSec team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management, with a minimum of 9+ years of experience. This role requires a PMP certification or relevant project management experience, and a deep understanding of both Information Security and Information Technology domains. This role would operate in Hybrid mode and work timing is 2pm – 11pm IST keeping in mind the collaborative needs with our global teams.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the security testing program, coordinating with both internal and external resources.
- Escalation Handling: Act as the front-line contact for reviewing and processing all escalations with 3rd party delivery partners and internal team members.
- Process Improvement: Define and continually improve operational processes to enhance team capacity with minimal resources.
- Team Training: Conduct training sessions for team members on fundamental knowledge required for daily operational activities.
- Audit Representation: Represent the team in all audit reviews and introductory meetings.
- Documentation Maintenance: Maintain and review all operational documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor other project managers and operational resources, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 9+ years of experience in technical project management.
- Certification: PMP Certification or relevant project management experience.
- Project Management: 4+ years of experience leading and handling day-to-day operations of technology-focused projects.
- Operational Management: 2+ years of experience managing operational staff.
- Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of 2+ Information Security domains (e.g., infrastructure security testing, application security testing, remediation management).
- IT Knowledge: Good understanding of 2+ Information Technology domains (e.g., software development, solution engineering, cloud engineering).
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the security testing program with both internal and external resources
- Front line contact to review and process all escalations with 3rd party delivery partners and escalations raised from teammates.
- Define and continually improve operation process to maintain or enhance the teams operational capacity with minimal resources
- Handle training of all team members on fundamental knowledge to perform daily operational activities
- Represent team in all audit review or introductory meetings.
- Maintain and review all operational documentations
- Lead other project managers and operational resources
