Overview:


As the Talent Strategy - Inclusion and Diversity Lead for AIOC, you will play a pivotal role in championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives tailored specifically to the needs and experiences for our people within our organization. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and various Employee resource groups to develop and implement strategies that foster a workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talent and we live upto our commitment to be an organization with equal opportunities


Responsibilities:


  • Define I&D strategy and priority areas:  Work collaboratively with senior leadership and people representatives to develop and implement a comprehensive inclusion and diversity strategy that addresses the unique needs and challenges faced by Generation X employees.
  • Advocacy and Representation: Serve as a vocal advocate for people perspective for different groups across gender, persons with disabilities, members of pride community and other groups and issues in discussions and decision-making processes related to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Awareness and Enablement: Develop and deliver relevant programs tailored to the specific experiences and preferences of people, covering topics such as leadership development, work-life balance, and career advancement. Working with teams to make them aware and manage change through this journey.
  • Mentorship and Support: Establish mentorship programs and support networks to provide people with opportunities for professional development, networking, and peer support. Define programs relevant for mentorship, development etc.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Partner with HR teams to implement targeted recruitment and retention strategies that attract and retain top talent, ensuring that our workforce reflects the diversity of our community.
  • Workplace Flexibility: Advocate for workplace policies and practices that accommodate the unique needs and preferences such as flexible work arrangements, accessibility, remote work options, and caregiver support programs.
  • Community Engagement: Build partnerships with external organizations, industry groups, and community networks to amplify voices and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives both within and beyond our organization.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives for people, and regularly report on progress to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging trends, research, and best practices related to diversity and inclusion in the context of Generation X, and recommend adjustments to our strategies and programs as needed.

Qualifications:


Master's degree required in a related field (e.g., human resources, organizational psychology, sociology) required;.


Minimum of 10-14 years of experience in diversity and inclusion leadership roles


Deep understanding of the unique experiences, preferences, and challenges faced by people in the workplace.


Proven track record of developing and implementing successful diversity and inclusion initiatives tailored to specific demographic groups.


Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different generations and levels of the organization.


Experience working with employee resource groups or affinity networks


Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal growth in the field of diversity and inclusion.
