Lead Engineer- FTS - NetOpt

Overview This role is an DSO IT analyst for the Supply Planning Network Optimization, a sub stream within the Forecast To Schedule Process (integrated supply chain planning) as defined by the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT). This role has the accountability of production support for the FLNA FTS Network Optimization solution including solution issue resolution in order to support the business, batch issue resolution, continuous improvements, leveraging knowledge of SAP IBP Network Optimization as well as integration, data, analytics. Core Level-3 FTS Processes covered: Supply Planning Network Optimization Develop Supply Plan - Tactical Capacity Planning for Internal and External Manufacturers Execute Ad-Hoc Scenario Analysis Execute Annual Operating Plan Process Maintain and Load Tactical Capacity Planning Data Measure and Monitor - Network Optimization Publish Tactical Capacity Supply and Semi-Finished Good Plan Responsibilities Act as the Network Optimization IT subject matter expert for the solutions being delivered within the end to end FTS process Resolve production support incidents, including issue investigation, identifying break fix, testing, production implementation and post migration validation of the break fix. Drive and support the lead for Network Optimization continuous improvements Provide support to the lead in improving DSO KPIs pertinent to Network Optimization including batch SLAs. Understand process interdependencies and ensure the design of fully integrated process solutions within FTS – example integrated process with Demand Planning and Supply Planning Perform Quarterly IBP Upgrade regression testing, explore and adopt enhancements that are value-add to the business Understand and following the DSO process Willing to challenge status quo and ask difficult questions to drive for optimum solutions and outcomes Ability to influence and work through others Open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices Ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiences Ability to deliver high quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required. 5+ years of experience configuring, deploying and production support of SAP IBP with a focus on Network Optimization 2+ years of SAP S4 experience preferred Mandatory Technical Skills IT Expertise in SAP IBP Network Optimization submodules of SAP IBP across multiple business units and lines of business (Snack, Beverage, Food) Experience in SAP IBP Network Optimization solution evaluations and application in planning and scheduling processes Familiarity or exposure to Network Optimization models and understanding and usage of statistical algorithms Understanding of master data needed for Network Optimization Familiarity or exposure to business and technical processes of Network Optimization, DRP/MPS, Inventory Optimization, Demand Planning and Replenishment Planning processes Experience with Supply Chain Planning for large projects and programs Mandatory Non- Technical Skills Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Prior experience in working matrix organization and handling multiple stakeholders would be added advantage Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn IT leadership experience with supply planning projects Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: ServiceNow, SAP Charm, SAP SolMan 7+, Azure Dev Ops, Quality Center and MS Project Solves highly complex problems within their work team Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change Consulting background a plus Experience with TCP, DRP, MPS as roles within the business Experience in cross functional roles preferred
