About the Team
FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk platform (Front Arena) is FIS's flagship product which is cross-asset trading, risk, and position-keeping system. It caters to front-office, middle-office, as well as back-office functionalities. It supports exchange as well as OTC trading. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk platform integrate with various external systems, trading platforms, and data providers for reference data, market data, credit pricing data, trading data, regulatory data, etc., which enables users to perform high-volume trading as well as to manage their exposures and operational controls.
What will you be doing
Based on our highly collaborative office environments in Pune, we are looking for a Senior developer for an industry-leading trading applications team. The selected candidate needs to design, develop, and maintain different components under Front Arena which are developed in C++, Python. We will offer you stimulating challenges, where understanding customer requirements and solving problems is a key part, in combination with creating advanced technical solutions. You will be part of an agile team with skilled and motivated developers, QA & BA that take full responsibility for its solution which includes both working on continuous improvements as well as innovations. We believe that the best solutions are built by those who are proud of what they produce! By working closely together with Senior Developers and the Product Owner in your Scrum team you will get a deep understanding of market needs and software design.
The candidate’s responsibilities include -
• Understanding the customer requirements.
• Interact with clients and other business stakeholders to perform requirement gathering.
• Analysis of the requirement and solution.
• Implementation of solution.
• Dev unit testing.
• Peer code reviews.
• Proper analysis and resolution of client issues.
• In time delivery.

Knowledge / Experience
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Hands-on experience in C++, Advance C++, Multi-threading, Design patterns, STL.
• Should have knowledge of SQL queries and RDBMS concepts.
• Willingness to work on Python. Hands-on experience in Python is add-on.
• Should be able to take ownership of complete product.
• Effective communication with business stake holders and customers
• Work closely with the BA, QA team and other stake holders.
• Ability to handle production issue and provide quick solution.
• Experience on debugging and profiling tools
• Highly professional, client focus and passion for learning new developments.
• Good understanding of Agile development practices

Additional requirements (good to have) –
• Exposure to Capital Markets or Investment banking domain.
