Overview:
 
In Lead Engineer role is for Aerothermal team in Advanced Structures and will actively participate in NPI, Sustenance and Technology development activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Works and manages small sized projects or processes with limited oversight.
• Handles difficult to complex problems.
• Supports in managing work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management for medium projects.
• Support developing SW/ SJI/SPI to reduce escapes and improve OTD.
• Support Technical RRCAs and solution implementation.
• Participate in submission of invention disclosures and technical papers.
• Support technology projects relevant to the domain of expertise.
• Participate in process innovations.
• Coach and review the work of lower level professionals.
• Conduct technical trainings at team level.

Basic Qualifications:

• Masters in Aerospace/Mechanical/Thermal/Propulsion Engineering 
• 5+ years of experience in Thermal Analysis, preferably in Aerospace domain.
• Knowledge and experience of working on Nacelle/Landing systems is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of Fluid mechanics and Heat Transfer is must.
• Hands on experience in Thermal Desktop and SINDA is preferred.
• Hands on in Ansys Thermal / Patran / P-Thermal is also preferred.
• Hands on in HYPERMESH meshing is required.
• Hands on in CATIA is added advantage.
• Experience in CFD is added advantage.
• Hands on with Python/VBA scripting is preferred.
• Should be good in communication and be a team player.
• Should be good in using MS tools Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
