The Team: The selected candidate will be part of S&P Global's Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, providing solutions architecture and thought leadership in driving our Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra AD (formerly Azure AD) strategy and adoption. This role will focus on the integration of AD and Entra AD into our broader IAM infrastructure, ensuring seamless identity management across environments. You will be the face of our IAM team to business units, working towards a common framework for identity governance, ensuring secure access and compliance, and supporting strategic goals for identity management solutions.


The Impact: The candidate will drive the adoption of IAM strategies, with a strong focus on Active Directory and Entra AD integration. In this role, responsibilities include designing, engineering, and implementing identity and access management solutions utilizing AD and Entra AD for identity lifecycle management, secure access control, and compliance. You will recommend and implement IAM solutions following S&P Global standards, ensuring that identity governance, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity federation are aligned with business use cases and applications.

  • 8-12 years exp in developing and executing the long-term strategy for the organization's Active Directory & Entra ID architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives. 
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in Active Directory and Entra ID technologies and processes. 
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex, enterprise-level Active Directory solutions, including multi-forest environments 
  • Ensure the security and reliability of the corporate Active Directory infrastructure while maintaining the integrity of the AD schema. 
  • Direct large-scale projects, including domain consolidations and AD to Entra ID migrations 
  • Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and incident resolution for critical Active Directory issues  
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence 
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and best practices for Active Directory & Entra ID management and security 
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies 
  • Oversee regular security audits and risk assessments of directory services infrastructure
