The Team:
The Public Ownership team is primarily responsible for Collection, Linking and maintenance of the shareholdings data for publicly listed companies globally. Ownership data is sourced through different filings/ annual reports/exchange notifications and then linked to the respective owners.
The Impact:
This role is within the quality, sourcing and governance team within Public Ownership. This role would require working with peers, involvement in data visualization, data extraction, process improvement projects and interaction with cross-location teams. This position is an excellent stepping- stone to understand the Public Ownership domain that will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding on investment data and analytics. To excel in this role, you’ll need a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in data visualization tools

Responsibilities:
Design and develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data visualization solutions that meet their needs.
Create and maintain documentation of data visualization processes, tools, and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization, analytics and data extraction.
Creating reports and developing tools and processes to automate reports.
Using Structured Query Language (SQL), python and other coding languages to extract data.
Aligning reports to business objectives and key performance indicators.
Collaborating with other business areas and leaders to identify reporting needs.
Accessing existing databases and creating processes for storage of new data.
Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that can be used to inform business decisions.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports.
Train and support other team members on data visualization tools and techniques.
Be able to independently handle projects/workflows or any other task at hand delivering high quality and within deadlines
Deep dive into data analysis of each allocated project and drive discussions to closure with stakeholders on workflow/procedure improvement through findings
Deliver on predefined individual and team targets
Provide inputs and ideas for new SQL reports, process improvement and product enhancements related to the dataset
Identify new projects, lean/automation ideas and enhancements as part of daily work
Actively communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders within the ownership vertical
Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team
Learning Exchange Courses as discussed with the manager and mandatory trainings on LX to be completed within deadline.
What We’re Looking For
Masters degree or equivalent work experience
Strong background on SQL/Power BI/VBA/Tableau/Python.
Demonstrated ability to manage communication effectively & independently with different stakeholders
Able to carry out day to day BAU work with minimal assistance.
Able to multi-task across different projects and allocations.
Project Managed at least 1 lean or automation project in the last 1 year (automation project approved by the RPA team)
Expert understanding of day-to-day work tools like Celsus, CTS, and pathfinder tools.
Comfortable with both CIQ and MI platform.
