Job Title: Lead Consultant - Infrastructure Analyst

Join our dynamic CloudOps team, a multi-cloud hybrid group specializing in public cloud services, hybrid cloud, PaaS, and XaaS. As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for making reactive and proactive configuration changes to minimize operational disruptions. Adhering to the cloud operating model, these changes could be delivered via infrastructure-as-code, Azure Pipelines, or direct configuration in the portal. This role requires strict alignment to identity and access control standard methodologies to minimize unintended access or production changes. You will support innovation and migration efforts from a BAU standpoint while reducing the overall cost of change and growing business agility. Your responsibilities will include providing BAU support on build and maintenance for cloud services across various domains such as OS, Compute, DB, Middleware, Network, Backup & Storage.


Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with multi-functional application teams to assist service support in BAU. Develop use cases into high-quality solutions in your specialist area. Take ownership and accountability for individual deliverables.
  • Resolve open issues while functioning as an advisory resource for “Best Practices” and driving adoption of cloud solutions.
  • Make accurate impact assessments, and raise, implement, close and roll-back plans when required.
  • Maintain current, high-level technical knowledge of the entire Cloud Offerings from a product perspective.
  • Work in a diverse team of consultants to implement sophisticated Cloud solutions.
  • Solid experience with modern IT infrastructure and hosting operation (Disaster recovery, SLA, Backup, Multi Site, Monitoring, AD & DNS).
  • Knowledgeable in hybrid & multi-cloud operations with confirmed experience in converged & hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms.
  • Proven experience assessing application workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop reason and Cloud adoption roadmap.
  • - Understanding and experience in supporting applications in Public Cloud - AWS and/or Azure and/or GCP.
  • Understanding and experience in supporting applications in Private Cloud environments.- Skilled in supporting highly available and performance optimized platforms for application workload hosting with technologies - VMware vSphere, Oracle Virtual Machine, OpenStack, Hyper-V, and on-prem hyperscale solutions (Azure Stack, AWS Outposts, Google Anthos).
  • Infrastructure engineering skills in the areas of compute, IP networking, storage networks, SAN/NAS storage arrays, workload protection (backup, restore, & DR), security/hardening, and governance in both on-prem and public clouds.
  • Understanding and experience in supporting applications in the public cloud like RDS.
  • Good Experience with AWS Database like RDS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL), DynamoDB, and Redshift.
  • Handle database backups, snapshots, replication, and recovery procedures.
  • Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and fix of database issues.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for databases across multiple platforms.
  • Tune database performance by optimizing queries, indexing, and configuration settings.
  • Analyze solutions and implement standard processes for database environments.
  • Expertise database migrations, performance optimizations.
  • Understanding and experience in supporting applications in Docker/Container Platforms.
  • Experience in containerization and container orchestration technologies like Google Kubernetes.
  • Experience with using cloud infrastructure automation tools, i.e.: CloudFormation.
  • Experience in orchestration and provisioning tools is required e.g.: Morpheus/Ansible/Terraforms/Aws Cloud Formation Templates
  • Experience with the development of Continuous Integration build pipelines and management of these, i.e.: Jenkins/AWS Code Pipelines
Essential Skills/Experience

- Preferably candidate should have 8 -10 years of professional experience.


  • 3-5 years of experience as a consultant, preferably within a system integrator experienced Windows Server/VMware or Unix/Linux administration.
  • Hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, GCP cloud principles.
  • Adaptable and dynamic learner with the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and work closely in a team environment.
  • Experience in handling Incidents, Problems, changes and capacity management aspects.
  • Demonstrated ability handling large number of incidents via. Any ITSM tool
  • Flexibility to work in shifts on rotational basis covering Americas, EMEA and ASIAPAC regions 24*7.
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Multi Cloud Hybrid IT setup.
  • Multi years of work experience in Technical teams working in Shifts.
  • An ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is essential
  • A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience, and a desire for professional excellence.
  • An active listener with excellent and confident communications and interpersonal skills with an ability to read complex customer situations and adapt as needed.
  • Substantial, extensive and demonstrated experience in various aspects of automation within cloud environments
  • Experience working with Cloudability tool and understanding dashboards.
  • Build, migrate and test Azure environments and integrations
  • Knowledge and/or experience on designing, developing, deploying, and CI/CD in a DevOps environment
