Job Title: Lead Business and Network Analyst

Introduction to Role:


Join our dynamic team as a Lead Business and Network Analyst, where you will play an essential role in supporting the Global Network Services (GNS) leadership team. Your expertise will ensure a great user experience across our service portfolio, manage risks, meet vendor expectations, and continuously improve our services. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a network operational budget of +$55m, supporting +160 global corporate connected locations, and +20 strategic and transactional vendors and suppliers.


Accountabilities:


As a Lead Business and Network Analyst, you will be viewed as an advocate for the customer and a service & risk management subject matter expert. Your responsibilities will include supporting the GNS regional leads, building strong working relationships with Global IT functions, managing risk governance, participating in wider ETS Risk hierarchy meetings, managing network vendors, leading ITIL disciplines, driving global continuous improvement across all service aspects, coordinating service weekend scheduling, and being a key member of the Extended Global Network Services Leadership Team.


Essential Skills/Experience:


  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer science or Information & Technology with 12+ years of experience.


  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification and experience.


  • Demonstratable evidence of driving continuous service improvements & driving a great customer experience.


  • Demonstrated ability to lead an ITSM process, discipline, or initiative, with minimal or no supervision.


  • A good understanding of risk management.


  • Familiarisation of networking components.


  • Adaptable and progressive learning skills.


  • English Language proficiency, both verbal and written.


  • Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasises teamwork.


  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams.


  • Capacity to solve problems, identify options and propose a reasoned solution.


  • Basic Network Certification (CCNA/CompTIA).


  • Professional certification on Project Management and Agile ways of working.


  • Professional certification on Business analysis.


  • Experience of working in a global organisation, preferably within the pharmaceuticals industry.


  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Experience of working in a customer orientated organisation.


  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation.
