Job DescriptionPurpose of the role
To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
- Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
- Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
- Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

The tech team is currently working on a major project to re-platform the books and records application in PB India. This project involves re-engineering complex workflows by dealing with multiple stakeholders. A successful rollout will require an accurate and intricate data migration process across systems. Considering the complexity of the project, the project is expected to have significant governance expectations. Accordingly, we plan to hire a Lead Business Analyst who can manage the multiple facets of this complex project and deal with multiple stakeholders without a drop in quality.

- Strong Data Analysis skills, experience in Data Migration analysis and Systems Integration work.
- Strong understanding and experience on common technology aspects used in today’s applications – Database Management On Premise vs Cloud platforms working mechanisms / System integration mechanisms. Ability to analyse and articulate requirements for both non-technical and technical audience.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a highly pressurised support environment
- Ability to prioritise the right things, focussing activity on the tasks that enable outcomes and managing and planning information effectively
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking for managing issues in a high-pressure environment

- Experience of working within a System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile project environment (Agile Central, JIRA, Confluence)

- Industry standard BA qualification
