Job Description:


About this role:
This position plans, organizes, schedules, coordinates, and tracks activities for developing, deploying, and upgrading software and hardware. He/She develops and presents technical and business solutions to peers. This position identifies areas for process improvement and contributes to solutions. He/She identifies project issues within established processes and procedures and makes recommendations for problem prevention. This position plans, schedules, and monitors work activities to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets to comply with established standards. He/She interacts with field locations to standardize support practices and procedures. This position coordinates deployments and implementations with ISM departments and user groups and facilitates activities to ensure projects and programs meet established deadlines.

Responsibilities:


  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of complex applications and services using .NET technologies.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Integration: Collaborate with other development teams to integrate various systems and services.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C#: The primary language for .NET development.
  • .NET Core: Knowledge of the cross-platform version of .NET.
  • SQL Server: Skills in database design and querying.
  • Web Technologies: HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
  • Azure: Familiarity with cloud services and deployment.
  • Security vulnerabilities: Should have experience in addressing information security vulnerabilities & tech stack upgrade projects.
  • Version Control: Using Git for source code management.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Knowledge and development experience on any WMS Knowledge is preferable.
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years of development experience.
  • Experience working on Agile Development Methodology 
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferrable.
  • Self-Motivated Learner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or master’s degree in computer science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • If required and where permitted by applicable law, employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by their date of hire/placement to be considered for employment. Fully vaccinated means two weeks after receiving the second shot for Pfizer and Moderna, or two weeks after Johnson & Johnson
