As a Lead Analyst at DSIG Canada, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive financial and management reporting and analysis to both internal and high-level management teams. Your responsibilities will include supporting month-end close and forecast/plan activities, analyzing operations and expenses to inform business decisions, and providing critical support for forecasting, annual planning, business analysis, and strategic business planning processes. You will ensure the integrity of data used for analysis, continuously improve reporting processes, and utilize various software and analytic tools to generate business insights. Additionally, you will prepare and present business presentations and briefing notes to stakeholders, develop standard operating procedures, and respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests. You will also build functional and technical expertise within the team and effectively multitask to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Lead Analyst - Business Finance, you will:
Provide financial and management reporting and analysis to internal and high-level management teams, including actual and variance analysis.
Support month-end close and forecast/plan activities, including maintaining templates, consolidating numbers, and generating reports and dashboards.
Analyze operations, costs, and expenses to support decisions regarding margins and other business objectives.
Provide support to Forecasting, Annual Planning, Business Analysis, Business Performance Reporting, and Strategic Business Planning processes.
Quickly understand business requirements and deliver accurate and timely results.
Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
Continuously improve and evolve processes to add value and produce meaningful business finance reports.
Utilize software and analytic tools such as SAP, Business Objects, Power BI, OneStream, Alteryx, PowerPoint, and Salesforce to provide business insights.
Contribute to the preparation of business presentations/briefing notes and present them to stakeholders periodically.
Fulfill various ad hoc reporting requirements.
Respond to queries and requests from the team for reporting and analysis.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes and projects
Multitask between priorities to meet deadlines and quality expectations
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM (IST)
Work from office for 2 days in a week(Mandatory)
About You:
You are a fit for the role of Lead Analyst - Business Finance if your background includes:
Qualification: CA/CMA/ACCA/MBA/PGDM
Years of Experience: 4-6 years of related FP&A experience.
Enthusiastic- open for learning and can-do mentality.
Good at verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
Exposure to Automation and Data Visualization tools – Alteryx, Macros, Tableau.
