LCCI Hyderabad – IT Tech Lead for Next Gen Tech Delivery – P3


Purpose:


LCCI Tech@Lilly Technology lead is crucial in managing the technology tool transition and ongoing support of IT functions for the next generation technology delivery program (NGTD). Their role ensures that IT services technology and infrastructure meet organizational requirements for efficiency, security, and performance. This role is critical in ensuring that IT infrastructure and systems continue to remain robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.


This position has global responsibilities and reports to the Next Generation Tech Delivery Execution lead, based in India.  Requires travel and flexibility to work across time zones with people from many cultures is required.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Create a technology roadmap for NGTD initiative and improvement
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in IT services for better experience and impact.
  • Develop long-term plans for the continuous improvement and scalability of IT services.
  • Assess the current IT systems, data and processes to identify what needs to be transitioned.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas needing improvement or new solutions or tools during the transformation process.
  • Conduct thorough technical due diligence to ensure that technologies meet regulatory and organizational standards
  • Develop plans for integrating systems and services to be transitioned with existing IT infrastructure and IT landscape.
  • Provide support for the implementation of transition technologies, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • Manage the configuration of systems and software to meet organizational requirements.
  • Manage smooth transition of the tech tools including licensing as part of the NGTD.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with technology and tech tools aspects of NGTD and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement security measures to protect IT systems from threats.
  • Closely Liaison with subject matter experts (SMEs) in the solution, service, tasks or processes being transitioned / transformed.
  • Managing technology migration and integration leading to stabilization and steady state.
  • Communicate with multiple stakeholders and the NGTD project Leadership Team.
  • Analyze project status and risk / issues and support the PM/PMO to facilitate resolution.
  • Influence adjustments to project schedule, budget, resources, and activities as necessary to deliver on commitments and program goals.
  • Educate project team members on Lilly IT processes and methodologies.
  • Act as the single point of escalation for all issues related to managed service technology being transitioned / transformed.
  • Educate the team on all quality, process and scrum methodologies.
  • Ensure Lilly information assets are protected.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, software development, system integration, cloud computing and networking
  • 10+ years’ experience in IT Industry with min 3-5 years leading technologies or IT architect community
  • Working experience with multinational companies
  • Good international communication skill (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and effectiveness in the areas of influence, team leadership, articulating and taking a position, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Other Information/Additional Preferences:


  • Certifications in relevant technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or VMware Certified Professional, are beneficial.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful execution of complex projects
  • Demonstrated effective stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage (sometimes conflicting) priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work within a budget and direct multiple projects
  • Good analytical skills
