LCCI Hyderabad - Tech@Lilly IT Quality and Validation Lead Next Gen Tech Delivery


Purpose:


LCCI Tech@Lilly IT Quality and Validation lead plays a crucial role in ensuring that IT systems, applications, and processes comply with regulatory standards, industry guidelines, and organizational policies. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, regulatory understanding, and project management skills to effectively oversee the quality and validation process and ensure successful system implementations by appropriately right sizing the quality documentation needed for all aspects of the NGTD (Next Generation Technology Delivery) project.


This position has global responsibilities and reports to the NGTD Execution lead, based in India, Hyderabad.  Requires travel and flexibility to work across time zones with people from many cultures is required.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and organizational requirements
  • Coordinate validation activities, including planning, execution, and documentation, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and validation standards.
  • Identify potential risks to service quality, safety, or compliance and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Responsible for preparing validation strategy document/plan.
  • Responsible for recommending appropriate right sizing method/approach and determining the nature and content of Deliverables in scope.
  • Accountable and responsible with Validation Analyst for reviewing and facilitating the approval of the Validation deliverables at various phases of the LSEF.
  • Accountable and responsible with Validation Analyst for collaboration with the deployment/development teams to ensure that all identified defects/issues have been fixed/ addressed.
  • Accountable and responsible for ensuring that the Validation deliverables are signed-off at various phases of LSEF.
  • Accountable and responsible for understanding the scope of work.
  • Accountable and responsible with Validation Analyst to ensure the successful completion and closure of the Change Requests.
  • Accountable and responsible with Validation Analyst for reviewing and understanding requirements and gathers/documents for service request.
  • Accountable and responsible for preparing the Deliverables with respect to creation, review and approval-coordination.
  • Works with the key stakeholders for day-to-day project and support activities
  • Supports Validation Analyst pool in preparing the Deliverables in scope.
  • Verifies and reviews validation Deliverables at various phases of LSEF
  • Facilitate team stand-ups during toll gate reviews and status reporting on projects in progress (e.g., scheduling, documenting notes, action items, etc.)
  • Responsible for coordinating the process of electronic storage and management of validation Deliverables.
  • Coordinates with the deployment/development teams and tracks the Deliverable defects to closure.
  • Responsible for preparing test summary report and validation summary report.
  • Escalates and communicates operational issues to the Service Delivery Lead and the key stakeholders as applicable.
  • Tracks delivery progress and sends status reports to the key stakeholders as applicable.
  • Conducts weekly/as-on-need basis status meetings with key stakeholders to track and update delivery progress.
  • Communicates training requirements to the Service Delivery Lead.
  • Educate project team members on Lilly IT processes and methodologies.
  • Act as the single point of escalation for all issues related to IT validation(s).
  • Ensure Lilly information assets are protected.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 10+ years’ experience in IT Industry with min 3-5 years leading IT Validation, Quality assurance
  • Working experience with multinational companies preferably with Pharmaceutical / Healthcare domain
  • Good international communication skill (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and effectiveness in the areas of influence, team leadership, articulating and taking a position, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
