Account, Site IT Infrastructure and Site Digital Leader, Tech@Lilly, LCCI Hyderabad


Purpose:


The purpose of this role is to serve as Tech@Lilly account leader for LCCI (Lilly Capability Center India), LCCI site IT Infrastructure setup / operations and Tech@Lilly Digital leader for LCCI based in Hyderabad and reporting to Tech@Lilly LCCI Sr. Director. It will serve as the single point of IT leadership contact for all the LCCI site functions, accountable for all the IT aspects and business needs as IT account leader. It will also be accountable for driving the digital and automation agenda for LCCI as Tech@Lilly leader in partnership with the productivity leaders and representatives of the other functions at the site by leveraging automation and pursuing process optimization via elimination and simplification. This role will be part of Tech@Lilly SLT (Site Lead Team) and will partner closely with the broader Tech@Lilly and LCCI business functional teams to ensure delivery of the prioritised Tech@Lilly portfolio for the LCCI and its productivity agenda. It will have some people responsibility.


Primary Responsibilities:


Tech@Lilly LCCI Account leader, Hyderabad: Serving as strategic business partner and account leader


  • Establish and foster close partnership with LCCI site functions in understanding their needs, strategizing, and aligning on the approach, determining solution, defining roadmap and timelines to address business needs with meaningful technical interventions.
  • Conduct internal and external research and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Helping the site functional leader identify the areas where they must direct their focus and identifying business value / metrics for success, while revisiting regularly and evaluating progress with robust communication.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and other Site groups like communication team, facility team to ensure alignment of activities related to Tech@Lilly for LCCI site.
  • Be prepared to establish knowledge sharing with broader global and GBS community around best practices and successes by sharing value metrics.
  • Collaborate with site functional leadership to ensure prioritization and alignment of site level initiatives, investments, resource allocations, quality, and other engagements. Manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensuring the projects/programs are implemented and deployed successfully, and the service levels are met for LCCI by working seamlessly with global and regional IT teams.
  • Incorporating and managing the OCM plan's execution for all site projects.
  • Responsible for owning and managing any Tech@Lilly issues and concerns for the LCCI site with other teams and following it through to the resolution.

LCCI Hyderabad IT operations Leader


  • Accountable for providing close oversight on all aspects of the site IT operations for LCCI and managing the site IT team.
  • Accountable for people management, development, and their performance to build a highly cohesive, high integrity and high-performance team.
  • Understanding the IT infrastructure current and future support needs for the site and taking appropriate measures in proactively providing the solutions.
  • Proactively looking at ways to enhance the experience of the site users with meaningful, well researched and effective interventions including problem management.
  • Manage communication and providing robust oversight during major technical issues and participating in IRT (Incident Response Teams).
  • Collaborating and partnering closely with other site teams as needed to influence, shape, and align on the most efficient and effective IT solution for the site in alignment with global standards.
  • Manage local vendors, site IT budget and site portfolio in close partnership with Finance and procurement.
  • Assist with site audit by partnering with other site teams on planning, preparation, execution and follow-ups.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Partner with LCCI Bengaluru Site infrastructure lead, Global Digital Core colleagues, Finance, Procurement, Site Admin and infrastructure staff to ensure smooth establishment and subsequent expansion(s) of new site. Responsibilities will include:
    • Finalize and track a comprehensive IT infrastructure plan that includes network architecture, server setup, storage solutions, and security measures
    • Prepare and manage the budget for IT infrastructure setup.
    • Identify, negotiate and select vendors for hardware, software, and service needs. Ensure timely delivery and installation of IT equipment/services
    • Ensure the infrastructure meets all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
    • Allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Tech@Lilly Site Digital Leader for LCCI, Hyderabad


  • Accountable for leading and driving the automation and digital agenda for LCCI site, particularly around “Digital first” experience for employees, in close collaboration and partnership with all the site stakeholders.
  • Accountable for strategizing, planning, preparation, and execution of the digital and automation roadmap for Tech@Lilly function and broader LCCI by bringing along all the stakeholders at the site.
  • Partnering with the GBS Optimization and Automation Capability (GCOA) team to proactively influence, shape, and define the approach and roadmap by championing overall process optimization via elimination, simplification, and automation using cutting edge technology to enable and achieve the productivity goals for the LCCI site.
  • Proactively researching and seeding ideas and ways for enhancing engagement, productivity and satisfaction, conducting workshops, roadshows, and discovery sessions in partnership with other site functions.
  • Identifying inefficient workflows within Tech@Lilly and cross functionally at LCCI, proposing and implementing ways to address them effectively.
  • Establishing, maintaining, and communicating the digital and automation scorecard for T@L and LCCI site.

Lead/Partner

Minimum Qualification Requirements:


  • Post graduate degree from a premier business management school or adequate professional experience to meet above deliverables.
  • 10 years of relevant experience and minimum of 5 years successfully working in and with global/international organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and effectiveness in the areas of influence, team leadership, articulating and taking a position, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with multiple examples of being able to convey complex ideas and thoughts in manners that resulted in definitive directions and results.
  • Knowledge of Finance and Procurement processes, deep vendor management experience.
  • Experience in marketing and brand building, proven ability to highlight the right stories to the right audience to create impact.
  • Experience in process optimization and reimagination via elimination, simplification and IT automation.
  • Should be able to navigate well within an organization and should be able to be a spokesperson for the leadership.
  • Effective team management capabilities.
