Job Description: Position: Lab SW Services Admin 3Business Lab TeamLocation: BangaloreProvide day to day management, organization and support for the CS lab facilities. The candidate must be methodical, systematic, self motivating and be willing to learn new tools and techniques in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. He or she must also be a strong team player, and deal well with prioritizing tasks under short time constraint and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to work on weekends, holidays and be on-call to support critical situations and to carry out certain system maintenance/installations outside of general business hours as required. Responsibilities:Typical job responsibilities will include:Ensure lab assets and processes are managed and documentedEnsure lab is kept in a professional stateEnsure lab equipment is maintained in operational condition, including licensing warranty & maintenance contractsManage the lab infrastructure including lab access, dial-in/out facilities, firewalls etc.Process RMA for faulty hardwarePerform maintenance on lab tools (access to databases, backups, customizations)Advise on new tools (analyzers) and help implementMonitor lab environment, cooling, power etc.Provide network topologies information for lab configurations.Maintain project plans and progress.Managing relationships with other groups and corporate departmentsHelp plan future lab growth requirementsHelp run lab meetings with the teams involved to workout best practice working with the lab infrastructureTake responsibility to make sure the lab resources are well shared hence services Juniper business and keeps cost under controlWorkout best practices on backup lab systems and lab service in line with department guidelines.Physical Requirements:Prolonged sitting or standing at desk or work area, frequent moving of materials weighing less than 20 pounds. Occasional travel to other labs is required.Job Skills:Proven management of complex environments and projects in fast paced environment.Strong technical skills across a wide range of IP areas, including Juniper Network products.Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels.Strong decision making.Good appreciation of end-user requirements.Methodical and orderly, with attention to detail required in managing complex changes.Strong organizational skills.  Ability to priorities and handle multiple concurrent tasks.  Ability to carry all tasks to completion in a thorough and timely manner.  Ability to effectively delegate work where appropriate.Ability to build effective working relationships with hardware and software vendors.Ability to work effectively under pressure. Must function effectively and cheerfully under deadline pressures.Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any discipline from a recognized universityWork Experience:3+ years of experience in networkingCCNA / JNCIA is preferred Juniper Networks is an equal-opportunity employer.
