As a Key Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with the company's local strategic accounts in Steel / Petrochemical / Power Industry to prevent them from turning to competition.
- Acquiring new business and extending product lines within existing customers.
- Taking full accountability for assigned accounts, including acquiring new business, collecting accounts receivable, and cross-selling and up-selling product ranges.
- Acting as a key liaison between customers and internal stakeholders.
- Conducting regular top management reviews with customers.
- Designing and implementing business strategies that meet customer needs.
- Conducting key account analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Coordinating pre- and post-sales follow-up with the regional team.
- Achieving and exceeding monthly and yearly budget goals.
- Monitoring market trends and competition activities to stay up-to-date with industry changes.
- Participating in demand planning and forecasting in alignment with the business plan.
- Driving sustainable growth and margin improvement strategies.
Key Requirement:To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 to 6 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the Industrial segments of Steel / Power / Chemical processing industry.
- Preferably from an II &III- Tier MBA colleges.
- Relevant Industry Experience would be added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Highly goal-oriented, assertive, and a hands-on problem solver.
- Familiarity with Sales Force is a plus.
