Key Account Manager, TelanganaJob Description

As our Key Account Manager, you will build new business opportunities and drive sales within your portfolio, ensuring our customers receive the full value of Axis.


You will work in the field alongside alongside with our partners and System Integrators (SIs), ensuring mutual success in projects. You will manage accounts daily, acting as the professional liaison between the accounts and Axis.


This position is based in Bangalore and Hyderabad, India.


Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Identify regional potential and develop clear business plans for accounts


  • Continued Business Growth through working closely with the accounts


  • Setting annual targets on each account and continuously follow up on KPI’s


  • Initiate and participate in activities that influence end-users and generate demand e.g. trade shows, seminars, technical training and webinars


  • Collaborate with system integrators, distribution channels and ecosystem partners to provide joint solutions for end customers


  • Work closely with system integrators and provide training to develop project pipeline and close projects


  • Ability to prepare accurate and timely sales reports for all projects


Qualification and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent


  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar sales position


  • Experience in indirect sales, preferably in a technical commercial sales role within IT or Security industry


  • Experience working with consultants and end customers preferred


  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment


  • Proven experience working with ecosystem solutions (related software, networking and hardware products) to solve customer needs


Important skills, abilities, knowledge for this role:


  • Strong technical background with comprehensive knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies, and related applications


  • Driven and self-motivated team player


  • Ambitious and proactive


  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities


  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills


  • Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce)


  • Proficiency in a second language relevant to our markets is a plus (i.e. Telugu)
