Job Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Nitrile Butadiene Rubber
(NBR) Sales will manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensure
customer satisfaction, and drive sales of NBR products. This role requires a
deep understanding of the NBR market, strong relationship management skills,
and a track record of achieving sales targets. The KAM will collaborate closely
with internal teams, including product management, logistics, and customer
service, to deliver tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of key
customers.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts in the
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber market.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers,
addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with key
accounts to assess performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Sales Strategy and Execution- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to
achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
and work on strategies to penetrate new markets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align account strategies
with overall company objectives.
Customer Engagement- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored
product solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure mutually
beneficial agreements.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement
strategies to improve customer experience.
Market Analysis
- Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor
activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product management team regarding
customer needs and market demands.
- Stay informed about developments in the NBR market,
including regulatory changes and technological advancements.
Reporting and Forecasting- Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales
metrics, and market conditions.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and track progress against
targets.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management.
Cross-functional Collaboration- Work closely with internal teams, including product
development, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery to key
accounts.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to drive business
growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical
Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or
business development, preferably in the chemical or rubber industry.
- Strong knowledge of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) and its
applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow key accounts
successfully.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship
management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex
market dynamics.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
