Job Description

Role Title: Junior Pricing Analyst - Pricing and Rates


Reports to Senior Pricing Analyst (Mumbai)


Location: GDC, Mumbai


Business unit: Pricing


Role purpose


Effectively manage and maintain rate setting, margin management and rate distribution to the business within Proprietary Pricing systems in a timely and efficient manner to PoS locations globally. This includes markets across Middle East, Europe, UK, US, Asia and Australasia. Active involvement with all key stakeholders is essential. The successful candidate will also support wider team by providing data extraction and data transformation services. They will also provide analytical support as they grow within the role.


Key accountabilities


  • Use business Proprietary Pricing systems and applications to an expert level to ensure accurate rate calculation and rate distribution to all endpoints and PoS globally as per defined schedule and business SLA’s.
  • Ensure timely communication of rate lists to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out all pricing configuration maintenance, ensure pricing setup for products and channels is accurate.
  • Ensure margin change requests are carried out accurately and completed by adhering to defined auditable processes.
  • Update and deliver accurate revenue performance tracking reports to internal and external stakeholders as per defined schedule.
  • Perform standardised checks on data quality and availability, ensuring any discrepancies and problems are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform first line analysis and data extraction/manipulation on request.

Role specific experience and skills


Essential


  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance/Economics or related fields
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent communication abilities
