Job Description

Main Responsibilities


  • Implementation of SHE Policy and Procedures in plant of the Company.
  • Implementation of HRA, HIRA, HAZOP, Aspect & Impact, ISO-14001 & 45001 etc. in plant.
  • Fulfillment of Factory Act, GPCB, CPCB, PESO, Fire Department & Other Legal department requirements.
  • Organizing and Ensuring toolbox/Safety Talk meeting before starting daily job for briefing about hazards and its safety precautions.
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly SHE sites inspection and report submissions.
  • Finding root cause of incidents and proposing action plan.
  • Enhance SHE awareness on site.
  • Periodic Inspection of Approved PPE's, Safety Equipment’s and Fire Fighting equipment’s.
  • To educate worker for proper use of different types of PPE's.
  •  Fire Demo, Mock Drill on different type of Emergency.
  •  Conduct training program on EHS Housekeeping & related subjects for staffs & workers.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Operation & Maintenance of ETP, STP and other Wastewater treatment related activity.
  • Co-ordinate for removal of waste as per Environmental regulations.
  • To provide active support to SHE Management system implementation for critical items work permit system, accident /incident reporting, safety training etc. Provide support to organization to meet SHE target.
  • Any other work assigned from time to time based on the business requirement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ Year Experience of SHE/EHS/HSE Department from Food, Steel, Chemical & Edible oil Industries
  • Good Knowledge of Work Permit system as per Factory act.
  • Good Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001
  • Good Knowledge of ETP & STP plant operation.
  • SHE Inspections & Trainings
  • Environment Impact assessment
  • Plastic waste rules & Hazardous waste rules & E-Waste Rules
  • Toolbox Talk, On job training & Classroom training.
  • Accident investigation & Mock drill, Emergency drill
  • Good Knowledge on SHE Legal requirements

Academics


  • PDIS / Safety Engg. / NEBOSH IGC and PDETM / Environment Engg. From Government recognized university.
  • Possesses a recognized degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology and has practical Experience of working in any factory in a supervisory capacity for a period of not less than 4 years; or Possesses a recognized diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology or a recognized degree in Physic or Chemistry and has a practical experience of working in any factories in a supervisory capacity for a period of not less than 5 years
