QUALIFICATIONS

  • Under-graduate degree, master's degree in HR good to have 
  • Professional experience in HR/HR Operations
  • Exposure to HR systems, ERPs, various tools is a must have
  • Familiarity with different assignment types (short-term, long-term, permanent transfers) and associated policies will be an asset
  • Proficiency in MS office tools such as Excel, Word, and data visualization; proficiency in Tableau is an advantage
  • High level of comfort working with data
  • Experience using reporting tools for the extraction and analysis of data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
  • Strong ownership evident through responsibility and accountability for end results
  • Meticulous, keen attention to details and highly organized
  • Team player, great collaboration skills, and working in a high performing team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate good judgment on when/how to escalate issues
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be based in our Gurgaon, India Center as part of our HR team within McKinsey Global & Capabilities Services Pvt. Ltd. You will report to the Specialist of HR in Gurgaon, and work in close collaboration with many other HR colleagues.
McKinsey Global & Capabilities Services based in Gurgaon, consists of approximately 2000+ colleagues who serve the global firm across many paths such as Client Capabilities Network, Technology Ecosystem, Finance, Corporate tax, Executive Assistant, and People functions among various others. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will coordinate key HR processes across topics in a specific geography, ensure compliance with all legal requirements and support risk management.  
In this role, you will serve as a point of contact for colleagues who require assistance on various areas within the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for various day-to-day people related processes in Gurgaon by collaborating with multiple stakeholders from within the team and the various service lines.
You will be responsible for HR reporting including developing and maintaining periodic and ad-hoc reports on employee data and metrics, analysis of business requests and translation of business requirements into effective and impactful dashboards/reports. You will respond to a variety of first-level HR-related data, reporting inquiries from designated HR teams and business leaders. 
You will manage new hire documentation and personnel filing process end to end, and support colleagues in providing them various kind of employment letters, as and when required.
You will support the team in our work towards enhancing employee experience by owning and ensuring the availability and integrity of data across all critical areas of the employee life cycle such as onboarding, benefits administration, engagement, and exit. You may also be handling critical areas of the employee life cycle such as payroll, leave management, etc., and participating in various month-end HR activities. You will be expected to manage our people systems, conduct compliance audits and data processing. You will also develop and maintain HR data records including managing active and inactive employee files and support Document Management Process in our SuccessFactors based ERP tool for HR.
