Job Description

Main Responsibilities


  • Manage databases and estimating methods of global Sugar and Ethanol production and risks
  • Manage and integrate large datasets from various sources.
  • Perform feature engineering to enhance data quality, safety and usability.
  • Apply statistical estimation methods to analyze production trends and risks.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key metrics and insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Experience


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, preferably in the commodities sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Strong understanding of data integration and feature engineering techniques.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Dash.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum years of experience & CTC :


  • More than 3 years’ experience with right skillset.

Reporting Line: Will be Reporting to the Lead Production Researcher


  • Education: Master’s degree in economics, applied statistics, or similar. PhD is a plus .

Languages skills: Oral and Written Fluency in English is a must.
