In this role, you will immerse yourself in the complexities of international real estate, taking charge of tasks such as overseeing the properties balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and contributing to the monitoring of real estate investments. Financial Management:Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports for our global real estate investments.Request statements of accounts to proceed with reconciliation and decide on settlement/collection.Conduct proper reconciliation of accounts receivables & payables and resolve discrepancies.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.Keep track of financial models for real estate investments, with a clear understanding of performance measures such as dividend yield, tax implications, project IRR, cap rate ratios and others;
Global Compliance:Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards and regulations for our real estate ventures across different jurisdictions.Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
Data Analysis:Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in our real estate investment portfolio.Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights.
Job Specifications:
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.Cleared CA Intermediate 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a focus on real estate investments.Previous employment with a Big 4 accounting firm, with experience in advisory services.Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills:Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis.Be able to deliver to tight deadlines and manage a diverse workload.Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Fluency with Google Suite/Microsoft Office SuiteOrganisational and problem-solving abilities.
