Overview
The ServiceNow Developer plays a pivotal role in our organization by leveraging ServiceNow capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including customization, integration, and implementation of IT Service Management solutions tailored to meet the dynamic needs of the business. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong technical skills who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet technical and user requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Customize ServiceNow platform based on organizational requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow implementations with updates and improvements.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure platform stability and performance through regular monitoring and tuning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to users and team members.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the ServiceNow environment for issues or performance gaps.
• Implement best practices in service management to enhance IT operations.
• Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and new features for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in ServiceNow development
• Should be holding at least 2 Mainline ServiceNow Certifications – CSA, CAD etc.
• Proven experience working with JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting and automation tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ServiceNow Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
