We are looking for an experienced Technical Software Product Engineer to join our 'Jira Center of Excellence' team. We are a global team supporting Intel's software & product development community through providing tools for Planning, Test, Validation, Defect and Requirements management. We focus on stability, performance, feature demands of Jira, it’s plug-ins (On premise & Cloud), Jira Align, Atlassian Guard, and related products.
You will be responsible for contributing technically to the team’s objectives / goals, maximize ‘value of the product’ and ‘outcomes of the Team’. Responsible for engaging with key stakeholders within and outside the organization, to build and deploy exceptional products/projects. Use technical expertise, experience and skills to formulate product strategies, new product opportunities and execute to those. Responsible for developing project plans to ensure quality and timely deployments that fulfill customer needs.
You should have Jira, Jira Align and Atlassian Guard domain experience and should be able to:
- understand the strategic direction set by senior management and convert them to goals, ‘define, own and implement end to end solutions’ from Business requirements / Problem statements.
- support and maintain Jira, Jira Align, Atlassian Guard and related application instances and infrastructure across multiple On-premise and Cloud environments.
- maintain system stability, performance, and operational excellence.
- plan, prepare and manage: product roadmaps, projects related to upgrades, technology changes, monitoring systems, customer support etc.
- strong knowledge of Agile Practices, ability to utilize Agile Framework to manage, track and deliver program features / deliverables while optimizing ROI.
- work closely with various internal teams, vendor, and contractors to achieve results.
- manage internal, external stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- You must possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent in related field with professional experience of 7 to 12yrs.
- 7+ years of relevant hands-on experience in both UI, backend and database administration of various Atlassian software products like Jira, Jira Align, Atlassian Guard, Jira Service Management, Confluence etc and strong knowledge of Jira marketplace Plugins.
- Strong understanding of Jira performance management, API management and optimization.
- Should have experience in setting up monitoring solutions, deep knowledge in log analysis, root cause analysis with extensive use of New Relic/Dynatrace, ELK, BigPanda etc.
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, hands-on experience in executing to SAFe practices.
- Experience in handling medium to large and complex projects.
- Must possess Excellent troubleshooting skills to fix application and customer issues.
