Role & responsibilities:
• Collaborate with technology managers and design teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Evaluate and refine the current architecture to improve system performance.
• Develop end-to-end application architectures, ensuring seamless integration within the ecosystem.
• Hands-on coding: Provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Design scalable, efficient Java-based architectures.
• Assess infrastructure requirements to align with architectural objectives.
• Identify and troubleshoot system bottlenecks and design flaws.
• Conduct validation tests to ensure system flexibility and scalability.
• Work with design teams to ensure seamless application integration.
• Perform performance testing to evaluate system behaviour under different conditions.
Candidate requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years in Java development & architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring State Machine, Spring Cloud Functions, Microservices, and REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Expertise in insurance domain
• Software Architecture: Advanced knowledge of software architecture principles.
• Server & OS Experience: Familiarity with JBoss/Tomcat, Linux, and Windows environments.
• DevOps & Cloud: Experience with Jenkins, AWS, or Azure.
• Application Design: Strong background in software design & implementation.
• Project Management: High-level project management skills.
