Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and inclusive Software Developer with a strong background in Java and Python. The ideal candidate will join our team to design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with our company's objectives. Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
• Experience with software development frameworks and libraries relevant to Java and Python.
• Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and interpret requirements.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Recommend software upgrades for existing applications, as necessary.
• Document all work for future reference, including coding standards and software methodologies.

Technical Skills:

Core Programming:

• Strong expertise in Java SE and EE.
• Proficiency in Python with a good understanding of its ecosystems.

Web Development:

• Knowledge of web frameworks such as Django or Flask for Python and Spring for Java.
• Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.

Database Management:

• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.

DevOps:

• Experience with version control, such as Git.
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience with Java and Python.
• A portfolio of previous work demonstrating proficiency in both languages.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
• Conducting code reviews, testing, and debugging applications.
• Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborating with team members on project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Java and Python are desirable.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• A commitment to continuous learning and growth in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges.
