In this role, you will deliver and support in-house developed and market connectivity application solutions and will take part in full solution delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with the business and technical stakeholders to gather system requirements and will provide solutions to technical and business. You will also deliver high quality and robust solutions on a timely and cost-effective basis in a demanding business environment while analyzing, debugging, identifying root cause and complete the necessary corrective action to resolve a reported incident and will be a part a of an evolving DevOps culture and have ownership of your solutions/applications.


To be successful in this role you will have 5 to 7 years of experience in a development role with experience in the following areas:


Mandatory

Essential experience of L2 and L3 support for critical applications


Core Java 8 and above and associated Open Source technologies


Comfortable working with SQL (SQL Server preferred)


Agile development methodologies and software testing


Essential experience in unit testing and unit test frameworks


Fundamental knowledge of concurrency, multithreading and data structures


Essential experience in Linux and scripting Experience with CI / CD tools


Nice to Have

Experience with integration technology such as JMS, Solace


Financial industry experience would be highly regarded


Level 1 support of trading systems a bonus


Knowledge of CORBA would be a plus
