What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will be part of the Marketing IT team.Marketing IT provides custom services to enterprise customers as a premium service. The objective is to provide the systems at client’s disposal ready out of the box. Dell is a market leader in this segment and uses cutting edge technologies and sophisticated processes to achieve this objective. The IT team Marketing IT provides the backbone to business team and works as a valued partner. It mainly works for small, medium and Enterprise business and enables them with custom services for their IT needs.

You will:

• This position will be for a Java Springboot Full Stack developer, responsible for design, development, test and maintenance of Dell owned products/features/applications frontend and backend. 
• Duties include participating in all activities necessary to take a product from concept to production including requirements analysis, design, prototyping, debug validation, troubleshooting production issue and maintenance. 
• Developing technical specifications, participating in design/code reviews, development, creating test cases and test plans. Ensures designs and code are in accordance with security and compliance (SOX, PCI, and other security requirements). Identify areas of improvement in application space (scalability, supportability, performance, etc.,) 
• Good communication and collaboration skills, positive attitude as a team player. Keen interest in continuous learning and helping other people grow. 
• Highly motivated, focused on business deliverables and ability to think with long term focus. Ability to work with teams of different cultures and origins. Passionate about the customer experience, and ensure every visit is a great experience.

Essential Requirements

• 13-15 years of development experience in technologies with hands-on experience Java 11, Spring 5, PostgreSQL, ReactJS and PCF Cloud microservices  
• REST & SOAP API development. Strong understanding around API and Microservices 
• Experience in using Dev Ops Engineering like CICD, build automation, pipeline integration, GitLab. 
• Experience in Test Driven Development Framework. Ability to have unit test plan and develop unit test cases
• HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML and JSON modules

Desirable Requirements

• Integration and middleware knowledge on Messaging Queues and Rabbit MQ
