The targeted product is a sophisticated electronic trading system with real-time and complex workflow management components built on JEE and Oracle on the server side.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer (Java - Server Side) for FXConnect product
the ideal candidate will be:
• Responsible for implementation and delivery of new server side components, micro services, web api, and enhancements to the FXConnect product
• Exhibit superior skills in modern Agile, Cloud-based, Server side, DB, Development.
• Develop understanding in the area of Transaction Cost Analysis and key benchmarks required for MiFID and MiFIR
• Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the application and influencing technology decisions
• Responsible for taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through completion
• Responsible for establishing best practices, clean-code and design patterns.
• Be passionate about driving change through an organization
• A proponent of Test Driven Development always striving to Shift Left so as to facilitate effective CI/CD
• Understanding of SQL and advanced relational database concepts
Qualifications:
BE/ME/BTech/MTech degree or equivalent.
10+ years of relevant experience. Preferably in large GCC
Excellent knowledge of Core Java and Java data structures, Spring Boot
Demonstrated knowledge of Java multi-threading and thread management
Demonstrated knowledge of security concepts such as 2-factor authentication and encryption
Demonstrated understanding of Java memory management
Excellent knowledge of ORACLE datbase
Understanding of Databricks or related Databse knowledge with Python script is Plus.
Understanding AWS/Cloud oriendted knowledge is plus.

Understand and work in Agile DevOps environment, experience working with Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development is plus
Automation mind set is required /understand the concepts of automation and have developed tools to automate testing, improve efficiency etc.
Work experience with Global team in agile set up, Ability to take ownership of deliverables and Excellent communication skills
For senior candidate ability to manage small team of technocrats is plus
Understanding of Java based frameworks like Spring, Hibernate.
