About the team:
This role is part of the Core Banking engineering team, which develops and supports the web applications as part of larger core banking platform. Team is following Value Stream Mapping model and works closely with Product organization to deliver application code into scalable, fault-tolerant production outputs. Also closely works with Service delivery team for any implementations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
- Internally recognized specialist on complex technical matters. Champions significant projects using demonstrated leadership and creativity.
- Technical ownership of 1-2 development areas and contributes to other areas.
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
What will you Bring
- We require 3 to 6 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge in Core Java 8+ & J2EE technologies
- Should have good experience in OOPS concepts, Design patterns, Collection frameworks
- Strong in multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, XML, jQuery)
- Experience in Angular 8+ UI framework
- Build the back end of applications through REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot
- Good to have knowledge in DevOps and Cloud
- Possesses knowledge of Linux environment
- Familiarity with WebSphere application servers and certificates, relational databases and SQL, Java based WebSphere application environment
- Experience with code management tools (git, svn, bitbucket, etc.) & deploy tools (Jenkins)
- Familiarity with databases (Oracle, MySQL), Web Servers (Apache, JBOSS, WebSphere) and UI/UX design
- Cache Knowledge: Redis, Couchbase
- Agile SDLC work experience
- Professional Attributes: Excellent communication, Collaboration and Analytical skills.
- Docker & Kubernetes, Cloud technologies
- Microservices understanding
- Domain Knowledge – US Core Banking or Financial services
- Loans, Deposit, Customer Information System
Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.S/M.Tech
