Java Backend Developer

Location: Bangalore

Overall Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of software applications using Java.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bugs and other technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java and related technologies.

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience with Java technologies such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Category-wise Technical Skills:

Java Development:

• Strong knowledge of Java programming language.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in writing efficient, maintainable, and clean code.

Software Development:

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Database Management:

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of writing and optimizing SQL queries.

Web Services:

• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SOAP and related web service technologies.

Experience:

• Experience:XX years of experience in software development with Java.
• Java Technologies:Strong experience with Java technologies such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Agile Environment:Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Development:Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.

• Code Reviews:Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Issue Resolution:Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely fixes and improvements.
• Continuous Learning:Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java and related technologies.

Qualification:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 8 years of experience in software development with Java, including strong experience with Java technologies such as Spring and Hibernate.
