Within our Global Employer Services practice, you will be responsible for the following job duties that are focused around two core concepts: your technical & quality expertise and delivering excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
  • Preparing International individual income tax returns, tax equalizations, etc  
  • Prepare global compensation reconciliations, cost projections, tax notice responses, etc
  • Completing tax planning and research regarding specific tax issues 
  • Understanding tax regulations and accounting pronouncements  
  • Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • Some travel may be required (varies based on location, line of business & client need)
Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree – preferably in Accounting or related field of study
  • 1+ year of experience in an accounting firm
  • Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam – or a licensed JD
  • Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements 
  • Experience preparing individual income tax returns 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters of Accounting
  • CPA or EA, or active lawyer license
  • Experience with expatriate or individual tax
  • Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
  • Experience in dealing with international tax matters
